The Home's policy on ‘Therapeutic Activities’ takes into account the service users interests, skills, experiences, personalities and medical condition. The Home offers a range of activities designed to encourage the service user, where possible, to maintain independence and most importantly take an interest in what is offered. Service users with specific interests and hobbies will be encouraged to maintain those where practically possible. However, costs incurred in respect of these interests and hobbies will be borne by the service users.
